Carrellata di giochi che non furono
Se tutti i leak di quest’anno vi hanno lasciati insoddisfatti, tranquilli, ne abbiamo un’altra scorpacciata per voi. Questa volta sono trapelati diversi giochi per GameBoy e GameBoy Color cancellati.
Queste ultime scoperte arrivano da una discarica “lotcheck” di giochi per le due prime console portatili Nintendo di molto tempo fa. Questi giochi furono presentati a Nintendo per la revisione ma, in seguito, cancellati. Tra questi abbiamo Pokémon Picross, che fu addirittura pubblicizzato nelle riviste giapponese durante il 1999 ma mai immesso sul mercato e Gimmick Land, sviluppato dai creatori della serie Mario&Luigi. Vi sono anche dei port di giochi NES e SNES e localizzazioni inglesi di giochi mai rilasciati al di fuori del Giappone. Nell’elenco è persino incluso un gioco di Hello Kitty che sarebbe dovuto essere compatibile con la stampante GameBoy.

'Gargoyle's Quest II' was released in the US on the NES. In Japan this was also released on the Game Boy, but didn't get an English release.

Game Boy Bunko: Hajimari no Mori (Game Boy Pocket Books: The Forest of Beginnings) is an unannounced first party game for the GBC found in the recent leaks. It's apparently a version of Famicom Bunko: Hajimari no Mori, a Super Famicom game.
