Poco dopo l’annuncio che Xeodrifter avrebbe avuto anche un porting per Wii U, il capo di Renegade Kid, Jools Watsham, aveva confermato che il gioco sarebbe stato in cross buy. In parole povere, chi compra la versione 3DS ottiene gratuitamente la versione Wii U all’uscita. Purtroppo sembra che ci siano dei problemi; il gioco sarà sempre in cross buy, ma i giocatori che lo comprano su 3DS probabilmente dovranno acquistarlo di nuovo su Wii U se vorranno giocarlo subito sul grande schermo.
Watsham recentemente ha comunicato via Twitter la notizia ai giocatori, affermando che, a causa di limitazioni tecniche che esulano dal controllo dello studio, gli early adopter potrebbero non ottenere la seconda copia. Si è affrettato a ribadire che il gioco sarà ancora caratterizzato dal cross buy, il che significa che tutti i futuri acquirent del gioco riceveranno entrambe le versioni. In poche parole, se volete entrambe le versioni attendete prima di comprarlo!

We’ll still support cross-buy, but only those who buy 3DS/Wii U after Wii U is launched might get a DL code for other SKU on their receipt.

I am very sorry about this. I want early adopters of Xeodrifter to be rewarded with Wii U for free, but it may not be possible.
