La prima settimana del 2015 si apre indiscutibilmente all’insegna di Nintendo: ben 17 titoli sui 20 in classifica sono per console made in Kyoto! Pur senza nessuna new entry, la classifica software mostra buoni numeri ed è la console portatile di Nintendo a farla da padrone: la prime tre posizioni sono appannaggio dei soliti noti, ovvero Yo-kai Watch 2: Shin Uchi, Pokemon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire e Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, tutti oltre i due milioni di copie vendute. Altri due titoli pluri milionari sono Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, quinto e Yo-kai Watch 2: Ganso, settimo, mentre si riaffacciano in chart Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Mario Kart 7 e Kirby Triple Deluxe.
Buona performance anche del software Wii U, con tre titoli in classifica. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U rimane saldo in quarta posizione e supera le 500k unità, Mario Kart 8 risale al sesto posto, avvicinandosi alle 900k copie, e, a fondo alla classifica, resiste Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker che, pur senza fare numeroni, è arrivato a 130k unità vendute.
